ARTICLE II – PURPOSE
The Musicology Club aims to explore the academic study of sound or music in a fun and exciting manner.
Through invigorating discussions and a variety of events, students will better understand their relationship with music and the field of musicology.
Events may include:
Guest speakers
Attending and discussing live performances
Opera/symphony movie nights
Traveling to musicological conferences
Virtual presentations and discussions
ARTICLE III – MEMBERSHIP
Active Members Active membership is open to all CSU students with the right to vote and hold office in our organization.
Section 3: Membership Rules of Order
Members of the Musicology club must:
1) Have a general interest in sound or music
2) Express a willingness to learn about the academic study of sound or music.
As a recognized student organization at Colorado State University, our organization shall not deny membership to any student on the basis of race, age, creed, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex, gender, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or pregnancy.
Section 4: Duties of Members
General members are not required to attend every meeting; any student is welcome to attend at their discretion.
If there is a meeting that includes pre-determined member participation (such as events that require instruments or include food), then members that state an intent to attend should attend the said meeting.
Officers and advisors must attend all meetings.
